Mick has just released his controversial CD: “Mick James Is Dead” - even though he isn’t. Mick James took time from his busy schedule to do an interview with journalist Alex Pompili, Tempi-Dispari, Rome Italy; Italy’s source for rock news.

Rock Legend News: What has been your approach to achieving success in the music and entertainment industry?

Mick James: I have had a "build it they will come" attitude. I believed I would be successful even when it looked black & things were going no where. I never gave up or listened to any doubters with negative attitudes. I made sure if there was an opening I would be ready to fill it. This is a tough business, no one does anything for those who don’t do for themselves. These days the industry only gets behind people who are already self made & making waves & fans on their own. Then they will want to work with you. So I took it into my own hands to get where I am & make shit happen…

Rock Legend News: Your new release entitled: Mick James is Dead is highly controversial since you are not dead. How did you come up with that title and what was the creative thought process?
